I won't provide a link. So much for "tasteful" coverage. Are the Chimperor and the media trying to incite the world? Executing at the start of the Eid and during the Haj? If you haven't looked, we seem to be in the minority for supporting the execution. Most of the civilized world despises the death penalty. Even the Vatican denounced the execution before and after. They should have listened to the previous pope. Chimpy is the antichrist.

The pure bullshit on the airwaves is amazing. "Arabs are used to executions, they do this all the time. It's part of their life." "This is an Iraqi decision and action, the US was not involved in the execution." MSNBC was playing Judy Miller over and over and over last night. CNN played the staged toppling of the statue over and over and over.

Bring the troops home, Chimpy. There is nothing to fight about anymore. At least anything you have told us about.

1. CNN every 15 minutes with the noose.
Hey CNN, have some balls. Show the whole damned video. America bought the execution. We should get to see the whole perverted thing.

3. MSNBC should be ashamed
Edited on Sat Dec-30-06 10:44 AM by Neecy
I saw Judy Miller being thrust at us last night as some kind of expert on Saddam and I thought, Holy Crap! Here's one of the most discredited individuals in our national media on the subject of Iraq and they're trotting her out to lecture us on the subject of Saddam Hussein. Bizarre, surreal, nauseating.

4. CBS News' site has his "final moments on tape"
I haven't watched it but it says

"Saddam's Final Moments On Tape
Warning: Graphic Content. Iraqi state television showed footage of Saddam Hussein's guards wearing ski masks and placing a noose around the deposed leader's neck moments before his execution."

Where's Howard Beale?
