If Saudi Arabia was behind our march into Iraq, and is now pushing for Iran,
why don't they commit troops to the effort? Why are they solely relying on the greed factor of our Petroleum CEOs and their connection to the White House to commit our children's blood to fight their war?

Just peripherally, I'd say it's because if they conscript their own people, the troops might actually turn against the Royal family.

1. I agree with your peripheral conclusion,
and add that the truly rich get others to do their fighting....

3. Sounds to me, that if we really want out of Iraq and Iran, we need to
go against those Petrol Ceos. It's back to those Cheney meetings to find out what they knew and when they knew it. We won't do anything as severe as what they did to Saddam, but if we can pursue this in the Civil Courts and strip them of their wealth, maybe we can put a stop to all this narcissitic Megalomania that's taken over the rich in our country...and others.

I mean really, why are we allowing the rich to be the boss of us?

4. Because they placate us with
flattery,
empty commodities,
false patriotism,
and
inconsequential distractions

...with the help of subjective media calling themselves "News."

8. Has there been any articles closer to a mainstream paper that point
out this link? I know there's chatter along the outer limits, and I did read a pretty convincing article on the subject, but, if it's not printed in the NYTs, it just can't yet be true.

6. The US Army is their army.
"They bought it.
They paid for it.
They built it.
And they are going to keep it."

9. I don't think the generals of the US Army would agree with that assessment.
However, they have been trained to follow, so it's those above them, ordering them to do the things they're doing who are at fault.

10. The Saudis publicly opposed the invasion, but now block our exit.

They're imposing the Pottery Barn rule - "you broke it, you bought it".

The problem with this strategy is that the Saudis are extremely vulnerable to overthrow. I give them no better than 50-50 to last out the decade. The oil multinationals are waiting in the wings to come in and recover direct ownership of the Arabian upstream supplies that were nationalized by Aramco after the 1973 Israel-Arab War.

All the intrigue we hear about the factional infighting between Bandar and al-Turki leads me to believe that the Saudis Royals are being manueuvered into a civil war that will be the prompt for reacquisition of The Prize.

Conflict in the region has been all about this since the mid-1990s.

12. Where are these people going to hide when this is all over?
Is there enough room in Paraguay? Brazil?

Wouldn't you know it that these sons of bitches would buy thousands of acres in the Rain Forest to build their own Nirvana, and in the process, destroy what's left of the planet?
