Hanging to be shown in all GOP churches tomorrow?
Torture, murder, executions, God: all GOP "morals" right?

:eyes:

I'm sure glad that I'm not a member of any of those churches.

4. They could catch another "Al-Qaida #2" at halftime too
I'm sure 29% would believe it was true.

6. Extreme sarcasm, although it wouldn't surprise me a bit
just like when it became public that Chimp's religious inspiration came from a gay meth whore minister every Monday morning.

8. Ever hear of polite discourse in your vast experiences?
Churches are not "Republican" or "Democratic" and as a Lutheran and a liberal Democrat, I was offended by the suggestion.

Which church, exactly, is George Bush the head of?

9. Ahhhh...I disagree
The Baptist Church my ex - husband dragged me to for 8 years before I saw the light was 'Republican', alright. Rabid, Ultra Right Wing to the extreme.

11. Some churches may have primarily Republican memberships...
but that does not make the church Republican. And if the church and its leadership are espousing a particular political view, then report them to the IRS.

18. With all due respect - like hell it doesn't......
....if a Church attracts a predominantly Republican membership - why do you think that is?
Because every Sunday their beliefs are reaffirmed from the Pulpit! Otherwise the good, devout and pious Republicans wouldn't gather there.

20. You do realize that conservative religious beliefs
are not the same as political beliefs? As I said, if anyone believes a particular church is endorsing a particular political belief - report them to the IRS! Get their tax-exempt status taken away.

I belong to a church that has both Republican and Democratic members. And probably Libertarians, Greens, and Independents. I subscribe to a very liberal Christian view; there are those in my church who are not nearly as liberal as I am. I am quite certain that we each take something away from weekly services which "confirms" our beliefs in our own minds. I personally think our senior pastor is liberal. What do you want to bet other members think otherwise?

Churches who claim tax-exempt status cannot espouse partisan political beliefs. The IRS is interested in those who break that regulation.

They think torture, murder, executions, looting, puppet gov'ts and endless propaganda are "morals".

I guess you agree with them huh?

Yeah, I agree with torture, murder, executions, lootings, etc. I can see where you'd get that from my posts. :eyes:

The "church of lying war criminals"? Nice try.

19. I don't stalk.
I also don't make weird accusations about other DUers supporting torture, murder, and execution, among other things.

17. Mostly in the South
For instance, here in the lovely state of VA the enlightened citizens just past the most hideous anti-gay legislation with 63% of the vote. Nevermind that pregnant Mary Cheney lives here (illegally now) with her partner and should by law have her baby taken away at birth which, will never happen because the elite live above the law.

Try finding her church and I bet it'll be a "GOP church". I won't be wasting my time on it, I already know what the GOP religious right is all about.
