I pray that not one more soldier dies for nothing in the hell hole called Iraq, but with the daily violence the 3,000th solder may very likely already be dead.

I would love to be able to sit across the table from W, that shit-eating grin wiped clean from his face, and have him look me in the eye and tell me that Saddam's execution was worth 3,000 American lives...that the lies he told to get us into this mess was worth 3,000 American lives.

What scares me is that the son of a bitch could probably say it and not bat an eyelash.

5. BIL is going back to Iraq next month....

for the third time. Sitting on my sofa today he told me that "this" (meaning Saddam's execution) was NOT what he was led to believe he was fighting for. He (along with all of us) was lied to - only he could pay with his life.
