But what are Freepers saying about Saddam's death?
I'm wondering if we will slowly outgrow negativity as a rote response to negativity.

Could take some doing.

1. I don't know but a lot of republican wives out there got a very good
s**** from their republican husbands last night. The execution of Saddam was a turn on for them.

2. Let me take a WAG.
The greatest day in US history. The Bush Presidency has been resurrected and he will join Washington, Lincoln, and FDR in the select group of greatest Presidents.

8. LOL! Exactly!!!
Also, they are probably saying that his letter to Americans sounded just like John Kerry, etc...and that we are "weak on terror" because we don't agree with the execution. Some of the dumber ones will think it serves him right for committing 9-11, lol!

13. What will Bush's most memorable line be?

"All in all it was a good year for me and Laura" - Dec. 2001
"Life would be easier if I was a dictator" - numerous cites
"Gee, you kids read really well." - 9/11/01
"I saw the 1st plane hit and I thought that was one terrible pilot." - 9/11/01
"I don't know where Osama bin Laden is and I really don't care" 3/15/02
"OK, you've covered your ass." On the CIA PSB 8/6/01
"Saddam, who planned the 9/11 attacks, will use his WMD on us next!" (paraphrased)
"Is our children learning?"
"Fool me once...can't get fooled again"

There are so many, it will be difficult to choose just one that captures the essential qualities of this man's character and vision.

15. That is why they have so many books called Bushisms.
because there are so many they had to put it in a book. But, one hardly made a dent in the accumulated amount. So they came out with another, then another, ect. They are going to have to come out with another one soon.

12. Actually
I doubt any conservative would admit to liking FDR. Lincoln is probably iffy.

19. Not only did Joshua Speed and Abe Lincoln have a long term
relationship, it has been reported that Abe shared his bed with David Derickson, captain of his bodyguards.

Stupid shits. Because hanging a criminal we created is going to stop the war. All insurgents are going to drop their guns now, for sure. The flowers and champagne will start flowing any second now.
