2. Ok...but only for the 48 contiguous states...these are at least 50% correct
Edited on Sun Dec-31-06 09:56 AM by HereSince1628
More snow will fall in March 2007 than in August 2007.

November 2007 will be cooler than July 2007.

The Chicago Cubs will demonstrate remarkably novel ways to wreck another stable full of pitchers.

During next year's retrospective of 2007 politics more DU'ers will be disappointed by the Democratic congressional leaders than satisfied.

In Dec 2007 "If your choice doesn't win the primaries, will you support the Dem candidate" threads will be up 240% from Jan 2007.

5. Quite the doomsday sayer, aren't you? I'll try a cheerier note:
Edited on Sun Dec-31-06 09:58 AM by The Count
- Dems in congress will raise enough stink about war profiteering for the main culprits to get out of Iraq - war ends
-impeachment noises are so loud, Jr rarely stops clearing brush, considers resigning every day
- more GOP scandals erupt making the MSM attack the Dems in congress
- MSM will obsesively write about *'s legacy and ways to "salvage" it - using Reagan as a shining example
- attitude about the war - when it counted will become a relevant yardstick in judging candidates for 2008, in spite of MSM's efforts to lure us into the contrary. PNAC friendly candidates will lose ground as more will become aware of how this war was started

6. January headlines
It's hard to see the full year ahead, but here's January's headlines:

"Iraq violence explodes; Saddam's rushed/staged execution suspected as origin"

"American right's speculation of peace after Saddam's demise ridiculed by reality on the ground"

"Bush sees victory near; Cheney claims insurgency in its last throes"

"Will the President heed the Joint Chiefs' shot across the bow?"

"Amazing turn; Republicans push for impeachment of the President"

8. Here's one: "Fearless leader working hard on Iraq decision" comes with photo
of * in thinking pose, head in hand, hard BM expulsion expression on his face
Lots of headlines with the word "surge" in them - and why it's "a good thing"
Also celebrity of the day headlines will obscure increase in Iraq casualties...

7. Ronnie's resurrection
Ronald Reagan, or somebody claiming to be Ronald Reagan, returns to Washington, claiming to have risen from the grave. He immediately gathers a large group of believers, mostly disaffected Republicans, and publishes his "Ronnies Rules for a New Millennium," the most controversial of which is a proclamation to his followers to oust the posing "idiots in Republican clothing" from their positions of power in the White House and Congress to save the United States. His quickly growing group of followers, known as St. Ronald's Renegades, take the charge seriously and they stage a nonviolent White House coup involving dosing the Beltway crowd with LSD, led by Mary Cheney and her large group of anti-Bush gays, The Rid-X Rainbow, Cindy Sheehan and Veterans for Peace, and a large group of scruffy Deadheads who get lost inside the Beltway while looking for an unannounced Ratdog concert.

After the coup, the emergency interim "president" is not one person, but a small bipartisan group, including previously elected presidents Al Gore and John Kerry, and, on the Republican side, Lincoln Chaffee and Christine Todd Whitman, and, as it turns out, the groups quickly shows that they can run the country better than any one, politically motivated person, especially as they begin the processes necessary to address global warming and the cycle of international violence.

Unfortunately, the resurrected Reagan turns out to be a fraud - he is really George Carlin, who is researching Reagan for a biography he is writing. Nobody cares.

The Bush administration is delivered to the World Court for their crimes.

12. Here's mine:
Justice Stevens will retire, and bush being the stubborn stupid asshole that he is will nominate an ultra conservative minority, setting off the mother of all confirmation battles, overshadowing even the Bork and Thomas hearings.

Investigation results in the House and Senate will shock even DUers and impeachment will move forward.

Iraq will contine to deteriorate, and bush will declare it a brilliant success and start pulling the troops out.

The Taliban will continue there comeback in Afghanistan and we'll see a further increase of violents there.

13. Global influence shifts to the East
Edited on Sun Dec-31-06 11:18 AM by ayeshahaqqiqa
1. China takes over as world economic and political leader
2. US sinks into depression as the world turns its back on the dollar
3. The Bush cabal is tried and convicted of various and sundry crimes, including treason
4. Attempts are finally made to stop global warming, though the efforts may be too late as catastrophe is predicted for 2008.

These predictions come from my interpretation of the Mayan calendar.
See www.mayanmajix.com for more papers on the subject.
