5. The thing that has shocked and disgusted me the most about this

is how so many people that oppose Bush have the attitude like: "Cindy was just askin' for it."

Did somebody just up and burn the U.S. Constitution when I wasn't looking? The SOTU wasn't addressed in a private health club. It was given at the U.S. Capitol that the taxpayers PAY FOR. If they (Bush/SS) didn't like Cindy's T-shirt, then that's the PRICE OF FREEDOM that Bush would have to pay. Not the other way around.

Her son died for this country for NOTHING. There is nothing worth defending if people can't talk about it or question it.

It seems that the last 5 years of mass social conditioning to get people used to having their rights trampled on is finally starting to pay off for the Bush Administration. Now his opposition is defending Bush's own illegal, unconstitutional actions for him ("because she was just askin' for it").

The U.S. Constitution, the document that he swore an oath to defend and uphold, he is now ignoring - and everyone just goes along with it. Even the people that are supposedly 'against' him. Go figure.

It's really all pretty pathetic. It's not a "love it or leave it" - it's a "change it or lose it".
