SOTU was actually the bright spot of a bad week for us.
After the Alito mess, I figured it was gonna be all downhill. But Shrub, with his usual incompetence, handed us a bit of a victory despite the best efforts of the Dems, led by Keane, to throw themselves under the bus. Even the talking heads have been giving a lot of airtime to how dismally Shrub failed, how widely he missed his mark of sowing a bit of illusory optimism among the masses. Puggie pundits are now going around trying to pre-spin the Twit in Chief's failure by suggesting it's really normal to see a drop in the polls after the SOTU.

1. It was a great week.
We faught a good fight and got what we wanted, (a filibuster attempt) Cindy shut down bush at the SOTU address, and it's only Wed night.

Demos have done well, considering they had a lot to react to this week. Some Demos performed like heros, and so did some heros.

We know where we stand, where we are going, and how we intend to get there. So yeah, I'd have to say it was a good week so far.

2. I feel the same...
Stephanie Miller did a great job today dismantling the speech and get this....the guy who sold my company's insurance plans came in today - a republican - and he even admitted that the Chimp (my word) said nothing about Health Care, said that the highest number of Health Saving Programs sold in NC by a single agent was 12 and that the plan was worthless - Dr's were not going to buy into it and yadda yadda yadda.....Great day when you hear a self proclaimed Repug pissed because the greatest President ever :sarcasm: said absolutely nothing .....

3. And they are busily erasing paragraphs even as we speak.
We should not take the SOTU address literally, because, um well...
Shall we say Bush LIED?
