New Strategy for our Dem Leaders.....do the OPPOSITE of |
|
whatever they think of...like selecting Kaine to do the sotu rebuttal last night. Think back to the Seinfeld episode when George decides to do the opposite of his natural instincts....it all works out for him. It is obvious that right now, the Dem Leadership can't make the correct decision on anything.
Well, at least it will be a change!!!

8. Kaine was a wise choice because he wasn't talking to us... |
|
He was talking to Scarborough County in a language I guess only they can understand. They like ignorant little catch phraes like "We can do better." They look at Kaine and see someone that looks like them and talks like them but is a Democrat. They hate Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Al Gore, Barbara Boxer, John Conyers... because they are told to. No one told them to hate Gov. Kaine yet.
The demograghic they were reaching out to was mostly Republicans anyway because most Democrats can't make it through an entire speech and probably won't put down the bong long enough to remember to switch on Kaine. They watched him looking for something to make fun of and yet there was nothing, he was them. He was a dud for us but offered distressed Republicans a chance to see the Democratic Party as the true Umbrella that it is.
Could Kaine have given a better speech? Absolutely. He was shaking like a dog-shitting bones at first but he got better towards the end. He did a fine job for a newbie and he accomplished what he was sent to do. How that plays out in November, who knows but at least they see that the Democratic Party embraces diversity. Right about now, I'd bet there are millions of trapped Republians looking for a place to run. Gov. Kaine was sent to be their St. Peter.
