Is Cindy still doing her law suit or is that now canceled? |
|
I'm wondering since the police "apologized." I think they knew what they were doing since they got the other woman. They were going to get any protestors or who they thought were protestors. Remember how Bush does to people at his little "town hall meetings." So I'm wondering if Cindy is still doing her suit. Thanks in advanced.

1. Cindy Already Got Her Day In Court |
|
The media was sure sounding sheepish once it was revealed Cindy was arrested and Mrs. Young wasn't...and then the appology by the Capitol Police was further vindication. In the court of public opinion, this was worth its weight in gold for Cindy.
I was critical of the initial reports as it wasn't clear what exactly had happened, however now this regime has egg on its face again for its jack-boot tactics. They can get away with this at the manchild's traveling dog and pony shows, but not with the SOTU.

2. I would imagine so. It has even more leverage with the police admissions |
|
They handcuffed and removed an innocent woman from a speech to which she had an invitation. They've now admitted doing it, so, yeah, I'd say she's probably going to take them to court. Someone has to find a way to keep them from doing this in the future. Maybe a high-profile lawsuit over a nationally-known incident will help.

3. Thanks for the replies |

And they roughed Cindy up and they didn't the other woman. She was just let out and she went straight to the press while Cindy was thrown in jail.

6. If I know Cindy, I believe she will file the lawsuit |

These pigs said "it appears there was no laws broken".
Yeah, except for the violation of Cindy's civil rights.

I heard her on Paula Zahn. She said she is definitely going to sue for violating her civil rights and "defamation of character."
