Hell of a question to ask as the country sinks into a pit of tyrannical shit. Does anyone care?

1. I'll be there......
The "bring the noise" demonstration here last night pumped some more juice into me. I'll keep marching and demonstrating. Fuck the chimp.

3. Too damn busy trying to pay the fucking bills on decreased wages
That's where America is today. Meanwhile, the rich have only increased their income and their wealth.

4. 9 hours to DC from here. Gonna protest locally.

You can get large amounts of people to DC on special occasions and on certain dates. The local protests are ongoing and have a reinforcing effect on the beliefs of the locals. DC protests happen everyday. Does the media cover it? No.

Where I live there are major local newspapers. There are many small weekly's, and monthly's that people in smaller communities get their news from. I'm in a heavily agricultural area that is very republican. A protest here makes the news. It sometimes even makes the front page. I have to protest where it will do the most good and sway the most minds. Don't get me wrong, I'll go to DC when the time is right and it will have impact. But for now local protest has the prospect of grassroots change.

5. Judging from the number of replies, apparently not...
It's too bad. I live 14 hours from DC, or I'd be there.

Best of luck to everyone who makes it!
