Durbin said: Help Children--Grassley said: Feed the Fat-cats |
|
Grassley was up on the floor feeding the Republican upper-one percent masters. Senator Durbin suggested that using 7 billion of those tax dollars would fund health insurance for the 4 million children who are currently unable to have their health, pain and lives secured by a funded health plan.
Grassley countered that the wealthy of the country needed all of the 70 billion dollar tax break and alluded to the fact that the health care for children could be taken care of through charity. The tax breaks went to the rich on a party line vote.
Why is it that when I look at republicans I see guys in silk top hats, cutaway coats, striped pants and smoking big cigars? Sort like a mean spirited Monopoly guy.

1. It's time to bring out the big guns. Durbin needs a poster-size |
|
picture of that little baby "offed" in Texas because it didn't have money for health care. And I bet friends and families would be glad to send in photos of dead loved ones who couldn't afford health care. Enough with providing cushier blankets for Martha Stewart's horses.
