Dailykos diary on what Abramoff is really covering up
This is a very interesting read. Abramoff is only a small manifestation of the dirty dealings with the Indians:

1. Let me be the first to K&R
Staggeringly shameful machinations. This information might be the necessary kick to move apathetic Americans uninvolved in the Abramoff scandal.

I believe most Americans feel pretty embarrassed about our country's actions towards our Native American populations. This information could well provide the nausea factor that would prompt some outrage at the injustice.

9. Yep. Neocon social revolution. Tribalize the people of American &
un-tribalize the indigenous people. Just like with the parks. They want access to all that land. All those resources. They create wedges between xtians and seculars. Then they try and wedge secular liberals by spreading fear (of diebold, terrorists, attacks on the varied values dems hold) And they try and assimilate people with a unique identity and with unique rights.

11. Jeez, the corruption in the Bush administration is absolutely staggering.
It's obvious that SOMEONE is getting MAJOR, BIG, HUGE bucks out of this. It makes me, an honest citizen, want to throw up.

12. This was worth the read.
The only thing that amazes me is that this can happen on the national level. The US Government is run like a corrupt local government. People will wake up sooner or later. It's usually pretty nasty when they do.

13. The testimony
before the Senate committee by Griles and the CREA people signaled something bigger. You could tell there was more to their stories.
