Got a Poll from the Democrats Yesterday

Are you familiar with these? Get on enough lists like Emilys List and soon you start receiving a poll (from the DCC I think) asking your opinions on issues, and then asking for donations (of course) at the end.

Got mine yesterday. Filled out all the answers. On the back where they hit you up for donations I wrote:

"I WILL NOT DONATE MONEY UNTIL DEMOCRATS GET A SPINE AND STAND UNITED AGAINST THIS ADMINISTRATION!"

I also wrote next to the request for donations in another area: "NO! THANK THOSE WHO DIDN'T FILIBUSTER ALITO! DEMOCRATS SHOULD BE ASHAMED!"

I doubt it'll do anything but hell, it made me feel good.

The first question asked you to number which issues you found most important. I chose "Other" for #1 and wrote in: "DEMS FIND A SPINE, UNITE AGAINST THIS ADMINISTRATION, IMPEACH BUSH"

1. The message of Impeach bush is a good one because it embodies

all the many failures, corruptions, and abuses of the bush administration.

However, I would like to call out the Repos up for election on impeachment. Why won't they impeach?

I received the same DCCC poll (asking for $$ as well).

In the comments section, I wrote the following:

"You will not receive one more dime from me until you grow a backbone. The Alito cloture vote was the last straw - it made me ashamed to be a Democrat. When you once again learn to stand for something, I will once again contribute. Until then - no chance."

Good to know I'm not the only one. Perhaps if they get enough cash or credit card empty envelopes with such comments back, they'll actually start to work on fixing what they're doing, so they can at least get money.

3. I hate to say it, but I'll be damn if I donate to the party. I'll donate

to certain individuals that have a spine and are against this war!
