And minimize whatever Specter and Leahy might come up with? Without a doubt, Pat Roberts is a tool of this White House. He would not hesitate to whitewash any crimes by this White House, I am convinced. With Roberts in charge of the Committee and with Mueller, Goss, and Negroponte huddling together with their responses, it looked very fishy, from my perspective. I wonder if Bush has talked with Roberts about a strategy to keep it out of the Specter Committee? Because they do not trust Specter...Yes, Specter voted for Alito, but they still do not trust him.
