Why Do People Put Important Things in E-Mail?
Is it just me, or does that seem incredibly stupid? They have to know that those e-mails can be traced.

4. Every major political scandal seems to involve e-mails and diaries.
I've often wondered that, too. Why keep a diary of your illegal activities? And, when you've been caught, why admit you have a diary, or turn it over? Same for e-mail. Why on earth do these idiots do their evil planning via e-mail?

Oh, wait, I know...most of them are old coots. They had an intern or staffer show them the ropes of this "e-mail" thingy. But they know nothing about how it works. They have an old-world mentality, wherein communications were once private. They can't wrap their old grey heads around this whole concept of letters being viewable by all sorts of other people while in transmission.

When you think about it, the irony is delicious!

8. Why did the Nazis keep such impeccable
records of the people they killed in the camps? Stupidity and hubris. They never thought they would lose.
