What news organization still claims that Iraq was responsible for 9/11?
I'm just wondering why there are still Republicans out there today who say that we should annhiliate every man, woman and child in Iraq. It dawned on me that they can only hold that view if they believed that Iraq had something to do with 9/11, so which organization is responsible for spreading this myth TODAY?

I realize that over a year ago, 80% of Fox News watchers believed it, but that was before the definitive studies came out proving otherwise.

5. Bonus question:
Who on Faux news is still pushing this agenda and why aren't we exposing his or her lies?

11. I heard Hannity spout -"Osama handed to Clinton on a silver platter" line
...the other night as I was surfing after the SOTU. I could not believe he still says that.

13. He is an outright liar. A few weeks ago he said Plame was NOT an
undercover agent so no crime at all occurred. Nothing he says surprises me anymore.

2. Liberation through annhilation!
Wingnuts crack me up with that. They'll start off talking about how we're bringing Freedum to the Eyerackees and then when you point out the stupidity of that it devolves into well we should just nuke the place into glass.

It's analogous to their brilliant abortion argument. You know, the one where it starts out being about Life and becomes sluts who get backalley abortions deserve to die (along with the fetus). Again.

6. within the past month
my brother, who is not stupid but must be deliberately ignorant, responded to my comment that i am against the war in iraq by saying, "if you'd lost a child in the world trade center you wouldn't be." i could only assume he gets his news from faux but i didn't ask. i switched the subject asap because i know him and he's not gonna change his mind based on anything i say.

7. I think this is the main problem.
Someone out there is telling these people that Iraq was involved with 9/11. If they don't understand that's wrong by today, how are they going to accept that Bush and Cheney lied to them about the connection in order to go into Iraq anyway?

10. I still hear the one about Saddam moving all the WMDs to Syria.
The RWers say this with a knowing look in their eye. They get a blank stare when you ask them why the hell we didn't invade Syria then.

12. Even the "Marlboro Man" believes it:
"The biggest question I have now is how you can make a war on an entire country when a certain group from that country is practising terrorism against you. It's as if a gang from New York went to Iraq and blew some stuff up and Iraq started a war against us because of that."
