Who here listens to Hannity?
I know somebody must listen sometimes...

I just got a note that he was excoriating me after the Alito fiasco, and I am wondering what day and what hour of the show so I can add it to my audio scrapbook?

No way I want to listen to the whole damned week of that idiot Hannity, so a reference would be greatly appreciated!

1. So you want someone else to do your dirty work for you?
:P

Nah, I'd rather eat my own hurl than listen to that pasty douchebag.

3. I'll listen for a few minutes here and there on way home from work
Sometimes when I'm driving home, and I'm not in the mood to listen to music, I'll flip back and forth through the talk stations. Here in Orlando, that boils down to Hannity, Bud Heddinger (ultra-conservative), and Jim Philips (good liberal talk show host - my normal listening choice). Even Heddinger has been pretty critical of Bush lately - gee, isn't that funny how we see that trend developing?

But Hannity, that toad is in a class of his own. His nose is so far up Bush's ass he can taste what he had for dinner the day before. He has the same tired pre-recorded sounding tirades that he launches into on a routine basis. He's entertaining to listen to from time to time, in small doses - if only to hear what lunacy they're spewing that particular day.

4. Consider it a compliment
If he's excoriating you, you must be doing something right.

It's actually a badge of honor!

6. Oh! I do!
I'm quite proud of it, in fact!

Any day I can piss off all of Hannity's audience at the same time is a good time.

I've seen too many threads complaining about things he says.

14. Doesn't Somebody Put Up His Transcripts?
I don't know if Lexxus/Nexxus is still around...they used to have transcripts for not just television but radio shows. We found old Rushbo crap that way.

Also there might be (shudder) a "fan club" out there...someone is sure to be either blogging or taping. A little honey can go a long way.

Cheers...

15. There are some whose mere visage upsets me.
Charles Manson is one. Hannity is another. Puke is more pleasant, and for the record, I don't like seeing puke either.

I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Haven't heard anything worth repeating. But any comment is a compliment, is it not?

17. I can't listen to Hannity, but I congratulate you
on getting excoriated by him.

I'd love to listen to the clip if you are able to locate it. A nice trophy for you to have.

19. I listen for a few minutes, every few days,
every now & then, just to get my Right Wing Tawking Points.

There were a few times when it was actually FUN to listen to Sean...that would be when Bush nominated whats-her-name for the Supreme Court vacated seat. It was so tough for Sean, having to defend his widdle Georgie Worgie when all the wingnuts would call up screaming, "WHY DID HE NOMINATE HER? WHY? WHY? WHY?"

Also, after Katrina, when it was obvious how piss-poor the FEMA response was, he had to stammer through quite a few shows saying, "Now's not the time to finger-point!"

Actually, yesterday, one of the callers zinged him, he was promoting the next guest on his show was gonna be Pat Robertson & this nice woman called & mentioned a few of the more recent AWFUL things that Pat Robertson has said & how "un-Christian" he was & that he has a book coming out & that's why he's on the show...and all Sean could do was say, "Look, we'll have him on the show, you can listen & decide for yourself! Then onto the blah-blah-blah about that's the best thing about his show, he lets the veiwer decide for themselves!

That last line had me laughing so, and he meant it seriously. Sean won't tell you what to think, he'll just put it out there & let you decide! Get it? I knew that you could!

You know what else he said? His number one mission in life is to see that Hillary Clinton not get elected President. Not World Peace. Not the Iraq war. Not the Gulf Coast. Not World Hunger. Hillary effin Clinton.

Unbelievable!

The creepiest thing is, when people call, they say,

"SEAN, YOU ARE A GREAT AMERICAN!"

(Very, I say, VERY creepy)

21. I heard him once by accident!
I heard Rush Limbaugh once too, and saw him on TV one night in 1994, I think.

It's kind of funny when you aren't used to hearing right wing mouth breathers---the first reaction is "WHAT is this???"

I can't believe conservatives listen to them. Both guys make no sense, and just sound like they are spitting.

Very odd.

I just realized my post didn't help you at all.

24. Worst sin of all: B-o-o-ring
He does nothing else but read the GOP talking points faxed to him by Karl Rove. Then he has a guest or two on to talk about how wondrously perfect the GOP and Bush are, and how "disappointed" they are about the Dems. What a jerk. Rush is incoherent now; Savage is nuts; Ingraham is bitter; O'Reilly is a demagogue. Hannity, though, is consistently, predictably boring. I can do about five minutes, then predict everything - I mean everything - he will say. Go away, Sean. You are a borrrring American.
