1. NO!
If they are the ones doing the starting over they WILL fuck it up worse. I for one believe we should *them* and start over.

2. Several of the DLC'ers
Several of the DLC'ers are fine. They just need to see that going along to get along won't get them anywhere. I think DiFi is coming to her senses. I'd love to have Hillary on our side. If we all stand together, we can end the current reign of terror.

3. "we can end the current reign of terror"
Your lips to God's ears.

You're right - we have to be together, in some form, to beat the nonsensical right. Right now I am torn between throwing my shoulder behind this party and ditching it for independence. :dilemma:

12. I'm sympathetic
Watching our folks do and say the wrong things thinking it helps them is frustrating beyond belief. My solution right now is to continue to keep pressure on them. DiFi is my Senator, so I probably have the most effect on her (however much effect that is).

5. I think Hillary is right. I would like to see this
monster of a bill declared insane. I am still battling with the SS/Medicare over the "D" part. I have been able one time to speak with a real person. I was told it would be taken care of. Then I get sent the same letter three times and it had not been changed. But I am so tired of getting the same "press 3, if blah blah." "Press 4 if blah blah. And on top of that I am moving in about a week and I am frazzled.

8. I understand. I'm starting to get there (43) -- but my beloved partner
has eleven years on me, and she is REALLY feeling it.

BTW -- are you w/ her on AARP? They screwed the pooch so badly, backing this godforsaken Medicare plan, that she refuses to join. Pity -- a lot of great services.

11. No, I am not AARP. They do have some good
services and I used to be a member, but the guy in charge of AARP at the time this crap of plan "D" was brought up basically called the shots without notifying the membership. I think he went on to be some big head cheese in a medical-related company. I am 73 yrs. old now and feel every year of it. Well, my body does. My brain still thinks I am 30 or 40.

10. that's what she does, she says enough different things that everyone...
is bound to agree with her at some point.

It's the essence of her political career.
