Why in the world would Hilary pick a Saturday morning to announce?

This seems pretty amateurish to me..... It will be old news on monday so no big splash. WHo is on the talk shows in the morning?

2. It's smart - fresh news for all the Sunday shows.
I look forward to the debates and the details of why she sided with Bush so much over her fellow Democrats, especially in 2004.

8. At least she will have the opportunity to answer and we will have the opportunity
to judge whatever answer she gives.

I think this will make for a very exciting debate season.

3. It will be on all the Sunday talk shows and it will be on the front pages
of all the Sunday papers, which get the widest circulation during the week.

Typical DLC triangulation. Only this and nothing more from the once and future Goldwater Girl. Wouldn't be prudent to come down on either side of the fence. Not gunna do it, not at this juncture.

11. Or She's Always Old News, Depends On How You View Her
She means nothing to me other than a mighty good way for Democrats to throw away the '08 election. Not to worry though, Obama is no better.

9. Funny, Chris Matthews, 1 of Hillary's biggest haters, asked the same thing
He was clearly miffed that she'd do that and tried to paint her as someone out to ruin Obama's parade.

10. Mattews just couldn't hide his contempt for Hillary this morning. He didn't say one nice thing about

her. Wanna bet she isn't a guest on HIS Sunday show.:eyes: He made some snarky remark about her doing this on Saturday because she "THINKS" (in his usual 'I hate Clinton' tone) she'll get on all the Sunday morning shows and take the spotlight away from Obama. My G-d. Could he be any more obvious in his feelings toward Hillary? Who wants to bet that Obama will be Tweety's guest this week?

12. Barry and Rich
Barry announced this week and Richardson will announce on Sunday. She needs to stop Barry's momentum and prevent Richardson from taking her further out of the picture.

Clark will not seek the presidency, imo. He'll be her VP if she wins.

There is now a crowded and diverse field - Hillary is still the frontrunner, but it may only get more crowded and she needs to keep her name in the mix and ahead of the others.
