I must admit, GW Bush leads me daily along a religious path
I got up today, went to the mailbox, looked skyward and exclaimed:
"Hallelujah! Delphi sent me another pension check!"

Walking in the house I opened the newspaper and mumbled:
"Jesus Christ...3 more soldiers killed in Iraq today, there's no excuse."

On my way to the bank, I notice we've had some strange weather lately:
"Oh my God...it's 50 degrees today, have we ignored global warming for too long?"

Then, stopping for gas on the way to the store I realize:
"Holy smokes!... gas went up to $2.80 a gallon last night!"

At the grocery store I see elderly people doing their monthly shopping and wonder:
"What in God's name... are they going to do when their their social security's cut?"

Later, as I settled in at the computer I read of White House domestic spy programs I say:
"My GOD!...What is this country coming to?"

Having my fill of news, I sat down to pay my bills in shock:
"Awww Christ....how am I gonna pay a $400 dollar heat bill?"

In frustration I leave for the local tavern and answer a friend's outrage that Bush needs another $40b for war:
"Where in Hell does he think he's going to get the money for that?"

On the way home the car radio tells of more tax cuts for the wealthiest companies and I think aloud:
"For the love of Christ...Are there no limits to their greed?"

Before I go to bed, I check my e-mail one more time, shaking my head:
"Good Lord...I can't believe my buddy has to relocate because the car plant is closing."

As I await sleep, I look to the ceiling and say:
"Thank Heaven.. I survived another day in GW's America."

If George Bush's goal was to bring me to my knees....
"Mission Accomplished"

6. That's a grinner.
Sad but true. However, I think I've lost more than I gained in the spiritual department because I've lost a lot of hope. Mostly going on belief and anger these days.

24. Speech, hell, he can't even answer a damn question.
Did you catch his clips on the Daily Show the other night? The one where the light or whatever was dangling from the ceiling and Bush got distracted by it. They showed Chimpy's face. I swear the idiot was hypnotized! His eyes were just swirling in his tiny little head. Stewart came back and said, "Good thing that thing wasn't shiny - or he'd a been there all week!"

25. Saw the clip, **** looked spaced out. The only time I can look
at his face is when someone like Jon Stewart, KO, Colbert or the like is bringing some new idiocy to our attention. He looked like a 5 year old with his hand in the cookie jar, "who, me?" Why has no-one mentioned ***'s comments last week in Tennessee regarding the singer. I have been waiting to tell the story to others but I can't remember who the singer was. The quote from **** was to this effect:
"I'm white collar, you're blue collar. I'm the President, you're a singer. It was so insulting and no-one has picked up on it that I have been able to find.

I used to be just sort of a weekend agnostic/atheist. Now, in the sixth year of the theocracy I find myself a dedicated fundamentalist atheist!
