You'd think if these various gods had any interest in peace, they'd communicate with us in a completely clear, obvious way that not even a rationalist could deny. They'd tell us which one is in charge, which ones are real, which ones are fake, etc.
So either the various gods that are claimed to exist really like all the violence we're perpetrating against one another in their names, or they don't exist. I suppose it makes for good drama.

Actually I should say that brainwashing/religious indoctrination should be banned, especially when it is forced on little children. It's abuse pure and simple.
