Need some research help, re: Washington Times and Hillary Clinton |
|
Fellow DUers, I need some research help, if you could.
Remember how Hillary Clinton, as First Lady, once had a weekly column called Talking It Over, and it was syndicated to various newspapers around the country?
Well, the Washington Times had carried her column for a while, and then stopped.
And I seem to remember reading or hearing somewhere, that the Washington Times stopped carrying her column back then, because they got flack from their conservative readers.
Supposedly, a lot of readers basically told the Times "You are a conservative newspaper. Why are you carrying this column?"
Can anyone help me research this, and see if they can find anything on why the Washington Times stopped carrying the Talking It Over column?
Thanks!

3. Thanks. I used to read her column every Thursday.. |

when the Washington Times carried it. I hated to buy the Washington Times at all, but I would buy it once a week just to read her column.
And I can't remember where I heard or read it---but I remember hearing that the Times stopped carrying her column b/c of the flack they got from their conservative base. So that's what I'm trying to research.
