Bush to Blair - "wouldn't it be cool to like, paint one of our planes |
|
to like, look like a UN plane and then Saddam could shoot it down and we could like, be really mad?
Blair - "Wrong-foot him, you're saying? Smashing idea!"
Thus are wars born.

What were they planning to tell the pilot of said plane? "So Long Sammy"?

3. Is this a war crime? Can anyone confirm? |
|
I seem to recall that it's a war crime to disguise military equipment as belonging to a different nation, like sailing under a false flag.
Anybody more knowledgeable than I about this?

8. Well, there's some things they wouldn't do - |
|
like try to save people in Katrina, but aside from that, I can't think of anything else.
They haven't drawn the line at black box humps on backs in debates, or playing dress-up on aircraft carriers, or having open houses for gay-porn-pseudo-journalists, or outing CIA agents, or listening in on our phone calls. I'm starting to think that they have an all day all the time game of Truth or Dare going on and they all pick Dare all the time.

9. The Hitler analogy becomes more plausible-- |
|
--with every new revelation about this festering open sore of a criminal regime. Consider: World War II began in 1939 with concentration camp prisoners dressed up in Polish uniforms conducting an "attack" on a Polish border outpost, giving Hitler his justification for war. How is that different from what Little Boots was proposing to Blair? And why on Earth didn't Blair just tell him to fuck off? Is there *anything* this lapdog wouldn't smile and bow for, if it would keep him on Little Boots' "good side"? Maybe Blair feels he's a "restraining influence" on Little Boots...and maybe Mussolini thought he was a "restraining influence" on Hitler...
