"we're addicted to oil but I'm going to keep giving them tax breaks."
In a nutshell, that's what Bush said in his SOTU speech. And he is daring anyone to speak against this.

1. And why does the industry that is making more profits than any in
the history of the world NEED TAX BREAKS??!!!! What the F!@#k?! Because they need incentives to rip us off? Because we have to subsidize them in order to provide them with greater profits which they will NOT use to explore alternative energy or environmental safety or double-hulled tankers? God forbid that they might take a billion or two out of their bulging coffers and act like responsible citizens of the world. Yes, let's subsidize thes guys with the custom Dick Cheney No Oil Baron Left Behind program that they helped to author. Americans, are you getting mad yet? What exactly is it going to take for you to get mad?

2. "we're addicted to oil, but I wouldn't tell my supporters to trade their
muscle SUV's getting 13mpg for sedans getting 26 mpg and thus drastically reduce our dependence on foreign oil; I wouldn't tell my supporters to think how many of the 2200 dead soldiers might be alive today if they had only spent the last 10 years driving 26 mpg cars instead of 13 mpg SUV's. What do you think I am, some peace-lovin' commie or somethin???"

4. he canceled Clintons solar project to provide 70%+ of daytime energy with
4 10 mile square units with the new technology that bu$h aparently sold to a Corporation.. thay are now using the tchnology for profit. the new light bulb will reduce night time inergy 37%.

with hemp oil we could cut back burning oil maybe 80% and send the arabs back to their tents.
http://www.jackherer.com/chapters.html Google; Hemp oil gas

AMSOIL with 250,000 mile oil changes and increased engine wear up to 1,000,000 miles could also on its own free us from forign oil.
