Think. Your Republican Congress just passed another taxcut for $70 billion dollars. Your President just requested another $70 for the war in Iraq. The latest defense budget is $439 billion dollars. That is not counting the $70 request by your President. That is off budget. In total, our defense budget is more than $500 billion per year. It does not take a genius to figure out that is $1 trillion dollars every two years. And you wonder why Social Security is going broke? And you wonder why we don't have money to rebuild our cities along the Gulf Coast? And you wonder why we have to cut the weakest in our society off food stamps, Medicaid, veterans healthcare, education, etc? Wake up, America. It is not a dream. It is real.

1. I believe I also heard something about adding another 4% |

to the military's budget for next year. I suspect that doesn't include all these additional requests he keeps making. It looks to me like he plans to use the next 3 years to build a train that will be impossible for his White House successor to stop.
Oops, build not guild. Although now that I think about it, gild could be close to the truth too.

2. Just saw that we are approaching our legal limit |

of almost 9 trillion dollars in debt. Congress has to vote very soon to raise the limit. It increased 51% under the Bush presidency. http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A60963-2004Nov18?language=printer

3. The Conservative ideology is a complete lie |
|
And, things are getting funny as hell now because more and more people are being forced to come to grips with that simple truth.
They are imploding.
Just the other night I heard Savage Weiner losing his mind and attacking all the other conservative pundits, calling them GOP shills (while he himself still rigidly stuck to GOP talking points) and attacked Rush Limbaugh deliberately by name (well, not by name, he called him Hush Bimbo).
And Bill OhReally was going apeshit on the radio the other day, as well, screaming about oil company record profits, calling them unAmerican and profiteers and gougers and the like. And his listeners called in to attack him, reminding him of how the magical Free Market will correct things, and how it is the oil companies' divine right to make as much profit as possible.
Needless to say, right wing radio is really funny right now.

4. America will wake up when they get their foreclosure notices. |

As it is, most are living, as the government does, on their credit cards.

Ever wonder if you are stuck in the great John Carpenter movie They Live?
America (general) don't give a shit about anything until it hampers their pocketbook.
