I wish I had gone to WDC! I just moved and was feeling a bit overwhelmed and tired. I have a lot to do. I also just read about this SPYING this morning! Dang! I knew a kid had almost gotten hit and arrested, and someone maced, but not about the guns etc. http://jarnocan.blogspot.com If anyone went to WDC, please either post here -OR more importantly start a new thread.

2. My god. Are we the enemies of the state really?
I think we're true patriots trying to save it.

3. From NC thread re: spying.
"A group of demonstrators who had taken part in Tuesday night’s rally and march on Elm St. noticed an unidentified man in civilian clothes videotaping the license plates of cars parked near the venue where a rally by the group, which drew over 200 people, had been held an hour e arlier. The man refused to identify himself, despite repeated requests....After he punched a demonstrator, guns were drawn, police charged, mace used, and the police car swerved... more details and info here; http://ncworldcantwait.thetruthis.us/cgi-bin/ncwcw/inde ...
he was identified as; Detective Ernest Cuthbertson of an undercover spy and “anti-terrorist” unit."
Otherwise we had a really great time, seriously! http://jarnocan.blogspot.com

4. kick kick kick
This happened in NC, folks.

Get a load of this crapola--the GSO police's press release on the protest

<snip> At approximately 9:45 PM protesters assaulted a Greensboro Police Detective monitoring the demonstration. Detective E. L. Cuthbertson was assaulted by protesters when he was pushed and struck with an elbow in the chest. Officer J. O. LeGrande was pushed and struck in the neck by suspects. One suspect was carrying a collapsible police-style steel baton and another suspect was carrying a lock blade knife. The weapons were not used against police officers. <snip>

from a Greensboro City Council woman's blog

ps read the blog comments. pretty interesting.

"Ann Wright's shirt just barely peeked out from her coat as the wind picked up. Under the number 2,248, the soldiers killed in Iraq, splashed the words: "Impeach Bush." Wright, one of yesterday's speakers, is a former U.S. diplomat and military officer who quit in protest of the war." (quote-Washington Post via MichealMoore.com)
