That sort of thing ends the discussion - if you are sure they are a lost cause, go ahead- but if there is a chance of convincing them, I wouldn't advise it. Bryant Check it out --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com

3. I was against invasion of Iraq but I feel that it's not |

safe to pull out because Iraq might turn into another Afghanistan. Bush made the biggest mistake by invading Iraq, because as we all know Saddam was a secularist. He had fanatics in check. Sure, he was a bad guy, but at least Iraq wasn't a terrorist haven. But what about now? Now we have too many fanatics in Iraq who want to turn Iraq into another Afghanistan, thanks all to Bush's idiotic decision. We cannot allow that to happen. Furthermore, don't you think that pulling out now is a bit immoral? If we attack their country and destroy their infrastructure, are we going to leave the country without rebuilding it back to what it was originally? I do not want that. Plus, I feel that being a military personnel is like being a doctor. If you have a heart problem do you perform the surgery yourself? No, you have professionals who will do that for you. Hillary Clinton was for the war from the very beginning. Now she is just like Bush in that regard. I feel she was wrong to support the invasion, but where I differ from most duers is that I feel we need to fix that country because America destroyed it in the first place.

It's their country, not ours. We are just ducks being picked off with no plan for peace.
We do not run the World and have no right to pretend we do or try to act like we do. We should act more like a part of the World, and get powerful money interests out of this all together. Then the motive for peace will be seen by the muslim nations. But as things are now, it's a lose lose situation. We need to leave... and never again invade another country pre-emptively.
