Teen Arrested At Taco Bell 'Party' Speaks Out
Girl, Father Claim Drugs Were Planted

EDMOND, Okla. -- On Friday, one of the local teens busted at a Taco Bell "party" came to Eyewitness News 5 to clear her name.

According to Edmond, Okla., police, Amanda Kersey, a 17-year-old high school senior, was one of four people arrested early Sunday morning at the restaurant on West Edmond Road.

At the scene, police said they found liquor, marijuana, methamphetamines and cocaine.

Kersey said she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She told Eyewitness News 5 that she stopped in with a friend and didn't plan on staying long.

her system. But who the hell knows? She should have run like hell when she saw what was going on.

Why the pigs picked her for the plant...who knows--she probably stood up for her rights.

Happened to a friend of mine...they stayed the charges coz it was TOO obvious.

Too many cops out there think their JOB is to provide moral lessons even if it means breaking the law themselves.

(Makes you wonder just how many cops carry drugs with them and tell their 'buddies'--"oh it's not mine, it's --um--to mess up a perp".

5. My older brother was heavy into cocaine back in the 80s and 90s

and one day he was making a buy from his dealer in a parking lot. Their cars were parked right next to each other. When the cops showed up the dealer dumped his stash in my brother's car surreptitiously. They tried to get my brother on the distribution rap. Luckily he only got probation but that was enough to scare him away from coke. Alcohol, however, was another problem.
