So sick of hearing "actions of Sheehan are dishonoring her son".... |
|
When Rethugs say this I just get livid and want to throttle them. How dare anyone question things between a parent and child and say a parent is dishonoring a child by protesting a war or informing people how a dead child might have thought. And then they say crap like she is undermining the war on terror and that other bullshit.
Now some blogger is comparing Sheehan and C. S. King and saying Sheehan is a hypocrite for not acting like her. The last one that mentioned this I asked, how is it hypocritical when our government keeps linking 9/11 and Iraq and has led a bunch of young people to their deaths over that fucking lie.
Normally I'm not a big believer in the thought that you have to be part of the military at sometime to criticize it, but dammit, I'm about ready to go get military service applications and start handing them out to these gung ho yellow ribbon suv patriots. Let them put their god damned money where their mouths are. Bastards.

3. I'll bet you that many (maybe even half or more) of the men and women who |

died in Iraq and Afghanistan come from families that are Republican. They probably have a clue.
Congress is another thing altogether.
