Interesting. Sheryl Crow and Lance Armstrong break up.

I know some won't see this as "real" news, but it is interesting that he spent time with Bush at his ranch and there was speculation about a political career for Lance.
However, last month Sheryl spoke out pretty strongly about Bush.

She said celebrity magazines are more interested in seeing a couple break up than reporting on them being happy together.

Lance left his wife before he met Sheryl. Even Lance's ex-wife said this when this evil rumor first reared its ugly head. She and Sheryl were actually friends.

As for the break-up, Sheryl is better off without him. He is a conservative I believe and I believe everyone knows he used performance improving substances, so he is a liar to boot.

Perhaps I should not have attacked Lance, I apologize for that, but no one seriously believes that he is completely clean.

Everyone around him was taking performance enhancing drugs, as in all sports, how else would he be able to compete. Every time they come up with a test to detect these substances, companies come up with new ways to either mask the substances or chemically alter them so they are undetectable. It is a high stakes world in athletics and athletes will do whatever is necessary to compete. Look at Barry Bonds who was already a great athlete.

Is Lance the greatest cyclist of all time, YES! Is he a hero, a role model, or someone I want running for public office, probably not.

As for you, I apologize if something I have posted on here before offended you. It was not meant that way. I really did not believe I posted here enough to offend anyone. :)

My RW brother has been taking every shot at any Dem as long as he can. Havent heard too much evidence, but I'm sure he'd lean heavily on his "Catholic" background to justify being a Repuke (my brother, that is). So I found it quite amusing that he'd be holding such high regard for a person who left his wife and young kids (although, the evidence of wife-leavers tends to tilt repuke - Gingrich, Limbaugh, Reagan, Dole, Rudy "Mayor of America" Giuliani, ...).

At least he had the decency not to do it while his wife was in the hospital delirious from drugs, like Gingrich.
