...he's supported this president on many thing...mostly fear driven things...wire tapping being one of them. He said he supports it so they can keep us safe.

I guess it depends on what kind of glasses you are looking through... I don't see him that way at all....

Bill has been thrown off the networks already. The fact that he was guest hosting on CNN makes a bit of a difference. I know that it shouldn't...but there are many weird things going on right now. I've seen the guy in person and he absolutely detests GWB. No question about it.
Peace.

as a poster above observed, on the Larry King Show.
Maher guest hosted for Larry that night.
I heard it myself.

I love Bill, but that sucks...
Sorry , but I still think Bill rocks. Guess I just like people who say what they REALLY think...or maybe because they think for themselves and don't just accept one side wholesale. I do disagree with him on this issue, however.

11. Bill spoke his mind, and in the context of FISA and warrants, |
|
I agree with him. The fact is, the President ought to have broad powers in order to fight terror-broad but not unlimited. It has to be within the rules.

over exactly what Bush did, and what the law says. I say have hearings, and settle this once and for all.

18. Yeah - I don't think Maher went into whether there should be no rules |
|
to cover those wire taps. Was sort of a broad stroke.

it won't be the first thing I disagree with Maher on. Sometimes he says things on his show that I dislike or disagree with, but I respect the fact he has the balls to say what he feels.
I like that he is pro-choice, but dislike the fact that he says shitty things about women sometimes.
Oh well... I guess no one is perfect.

sometimes I disagree with him but the majority of the time I agree and I got to hand to a guy who says what he thinks no matter the consequences.
