Our military is going to help China set up its military? Did I hear that
correctly? SOme doofus military briefing on CSPAN now. Guy says we are going to help China set up a military capable of handling its security needs. Well, sound like we're gonna hand some one another gun to turn back on us. What is wrong with this picture?

1. the war profiteers are in charge of the government
In case anyone hadn't noticed, we are being occupied.

First clue: our jobs being shipped to other countries.

If an occupying force took over the U.S., what's the first thing they would do? Pillage our economic base. What's happened with bush in charge?

2. I bet it is much more complex than that....
In the end, the corporatists want one world oligarchy. Why would anybody think there are not corporatists in China? In the end they all have to go along to get along. China holds a lot of our debt. We are prepared to sink like a rock as martial law is imposed following another well-orchestrated 9/11.....

I know I am just speculating... cynically. But......

"In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way." -- President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

5. But, but, but
"Why would anybody think there are not corporatists in China?"

They're communists. You know, Red China.

Oh, wait, that's right, too many people in power "confuse" communism for a political structure. It really is amazing how many people do that. Those same people always equate democracy and capitalism.

"In the end, the corporatists want one world oligarchy."

Yep, and they'll kill any uncivilized savage that doesn't. Or make them waste their few years sitting at a desk.

3. China can't set up it's own military and make it capable to defend
itself? Then why the hell have we and Russia been so afraid of China all these years? And why would it even be in our interest whatsoever to help China organize it's military? Japan is scared to death of China, they've been enemies from ancient times.

There is way more to this than they're telling us. Maybe China is calling in it's markers.

16. Nobody's Scared of China
at least not of being invaded by China. Their borders are about the same as they were 500 years ago. China IS a threat to Western dominance of Asia.

China's been used as an excuse for military buildups in both the US and the USSR. The stronger they are, the more of a reason to spend domestically.

7. It's a Republican tradition. Ollie North gave our missiles to Iran...
and claimed he was a "patriot."

I'm sure BushCo sees a way to make a buck training the "godless Red commie hordes of China" (as Republicans would describe the people of that far-away land).

So look on the Bright Side: More Massive Profits for BushCo. Who could possibly object to that? Why do liberals hate the free market?

9. I realize I'm an outsider so to speak
But it seems to me that the Bush administration can't even handle half of America's domestic issues and here they are, yet again, rushing to arm another possible future enemy. Eventually when two thirds of the world gangs up and decimates the US, Canada will have to step up and be the top dog over here. That's kind of scary because we are too focused on hockey right now to have to worry about the rest of the world.

13. the neocons and corporatists don't care
about domestic issues.... except to control the sheep. they are building the internment camps for us troublemakers, they are dismantlying the social support system so the "useless eaters" can simply die off.....

They do not care about America per se. They are transnationalists.... corporatists. Disabuse yourselves of the notion that their ethical, moral concerns (such as they are) have any similarity to ours. They do not. They are, as Mike Malloy says, "Evil Rat Bastards".
