Because of the rain yesterday I left fairly late, hoping it would let up. When I get there it was pouring and there was thunder, lightening, etc. I didn't mind standing in the rain, but apparently a lot of other people did, as there were very few people there when I showed up (even less than earlier in the day). I knew the weather would drive people away, but I was downright shocked by the dismal turnout. Eventually, they had to cut the power due to the thunderstorm. I left early also, as I was a little bit ticked off at the people in front of me burning flags. It was one of those flags with corporate logos on it, but I still felt it was sending the wrong message, and the people doing it had a little bit too much lighter fluid for comfort (they had tons with them, much more for just a flag). Although being their for a short time, I was still there long enough to catch a cold.
