Blunt or Boehner ? Which is more ethical ?
Roy Blunt was hand-picked by Tom Delay. He knew his away around K Street and the avenues of power. Boehner had been kicked to the back of the Party after it was publicized in 1995 that he was handing out checks from the tobacco industry on the floor of the House. It was too bold to be ignored.

But now, Boehner has come back as the Majority Leader of his Party. Has he rehabilitated himself? Not hardly. He beat Blunt on an inside trick by himself and Rep. Shag-ass from Arizona. Shag-ass pretended he was going to be a thrid party reformer and when he saw he did not have the votes, which were miscounted on the first try, he persuaded his supporters to get behind Boehner. Boehner was far behind up to that point.

Republicans that think they have got a reformer as the new Majority Leader are deceiving themselves. Rep. Boehner loves to golf. He's played at more international sites than Tom Delay. He's even played in Spain. This guy represents the worst of what people dislike about Congress. But, he's now the new Republican leader...

So, is he a new face? Is he more ethical than Roy Blunt? Not hardly.

1. Like choosing between Al Capone and Lucky Luciano.
Of course, finding an incorruptable politician is like finding an honest bookkeeper in the Mafia.

Boehner has been at this game longer than Blunt. He was relegated to the back of hte bus after he was caught handing out tobacco chks on the floor of the House. While it was in session! The gall! And also, remember that he was part of that taped conversation that was picked up by a couple on their radio and recorded with some very embarrassing comments.
