PBS NOW must see.
Edited on Sun Feb-05-06 02:28 PM by Kierkegaard
The title: Iraq Pre-War Intelligence
http://www.pbs.org/now/politics/iraqdocuments.html

Sorry, folks...here is a belated link. File this one under 'thanks for nothing' as it just went off.

Discussion of lies leading to war. Lots of inteview footage damning the neocons...

Edit: more information. DSS title was not on the show listing, only 'NOW', so I had to go look it up...

4. Yes, it's Wilkerson and a touch of Durbin.
Not groundbreaking, but it pieces together what we've already heard from/about Powell's partner in crime.

5. Aren't they a little late with all of this. Why didn't they have...
shows like this on before the 2004 election?

7. That's a very good question.
The good news is that this, piled on top of everything else that's been exposed about these bastards, is hitting the proverbial fan simultaneously. The more 'excrement' we can pile on, the harder it's going to be for MSM and general public to ignore what garbage we have running this country.

10. You and me both.
I just hope they aren't having a 'Spring cleaning' to get everything out in the open and give it time to die down before the elections.

11. If you look at FRONTLINE's archived shows at their site, you will see that
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/

PBS HAS in fact had excellent coverage of this well before the election, including the Office of Special Plans, the PNAC and the source of what passes for our foreign policy.

They always do a fantastic job as well.

The problem is that PBS isn't the MSM and only reaches so many people. And now we have stacked thugs at the CPB dictating that certain programs are "liberal" and all that crapola. NOW had a run in with that when Bill Moyers was hosting. They still don't receive any CPB money which is why it was cut into a half-hour show.

13. Right, but the charge was, "why weren't they (PBS) on this before the
election" and I was pointing out, if you were watching, they actually were. I don't know of ANY network or cable news programming otherwise that covered this ground, sadly.

14. Yes, I understand and agree
I was just pointing out that even though they did coverage on these issues, the message only reaches a certain amount of people.

Kind of going off into a rant...:D

15. We need to Petition CPB/PBS
to restore NOW to a one hour format... (and apologize to Bill Moyers)
