Predictions: U.S Response to Iranian Oil Burse and Aftermath
Will America bomb Iran? Will Iran cut off oil to west? Will Iran attack American soldiers in Iraq and attack Israel in retaliation of a American or Israeli attack? What will be the reaction of Russia, China and the rest of the world to a American or Israeli attack on Iran? Will the stock market crash? Will the American economy crash?

You've touched on some of the possible consequences; needless to say, we should be careful to exhaust all diplomatic possibilities at this point. Ultimately, it is every country's right to chose whatever currency they please when collecting money from those countries who buy their goods. We can't continue to bolster the dollar this way.

2. We could establish military bases in Saudi Arabia again..
that is if the ones we have now in Iraq are not sufficient.

4. Saudi Arabia
Why would we? They've drilled the better part of their oil, and have been accused of grossly exagerating their oil reserves to keep their lines of credit open. Furthermore, they injected the wells with salt water, making initial drilling much easier, but making for much more expensive drilling later.

3. Acting on US intel Israel will attack before Iran's
new satellite early warning systems are fully on line. March seems likely. Iran will respond with missiles on Jerusalem and other key cities (little damage, save that to Israel pride). US will step in and level major Iraqi nuclear installations, centers of communication, oil distribution points, airfields, command and control facilities.

Shia in Iraq will take to the streets in riots. US and UK troops will fire on them. The whole of Iraq will break out in open warfare. Kurds will begin efforts to establish free kurdish republic. Turkey, struggling with containment of avian flu, will use this as an excuse to quarantine and then eradicate Kurdish settlements in southern Turkey.

Possible that sleeper cells in US, UK, and Israel will awaken. If so, look for some interesting mischief in our homeland. I'm thinking remaining Gulf Coast, NJ, and West coast petrochemical facilities will be targeted. The DC sniper will be replayed in a number of cities (cheap and effective terror that kind of effort is).
