Cornyn lying about FISA.
National Security surveillance requires ZERO DELAY so long as the FISA warrant is applied for shortly thereafter.

There is NO DELAY to the process. FISA is not outdated and irrelevant.

2. cornyn knows his audience
His base is as ignorant as he is and none of them care a fuck about (or more importantly know anything about) the constitution. They are neanderthal fake patriots who believe they are badasses. People who vote for the likes of cornyn do not deserve constitutional liberties.

I told the kid who answered the phone that Cornyn was an embarrassment and a hypocrite.

11. Thanks BH. I've never been that active before but the
atrocities of this administration have overcome my natural tendency to be less vocal. I just can't take it anymore.

He's really hoping to ride W.'s coattails in Texas, I guess. WHat a lying prick he is. Can he be disbarred for being an asshole?

6. when your people are busy dealing with lobbyists

and skimming government contracts, there's just not enough resources to deal with warrants.

Where are your priorities ?

14. 15 day limit
Edited on Mon Feb-06-06 06:12 PM by LiberalPartisan
The warrantless search proviso is allowed during the first 15 days of war only, and even then a warrant must be applied for after the fact.

The AUMF is not a declaration of war therefore we are not at war hence all warrantless searches are illegal and a violation of the Constitution.
