The fight for our country is about WILL, not facts or ideology! |
|
While we keep waiting for the next scandal to turn the tide of public opinion, they are figuring out how to control EVERYTHING, for a long time.
It doesn't matter "what" they do, "who" gets in trouble, "why" we're going to war, "how" America is supposed to work. While we sit here and try to pick apart their words and nail them for their lies, they are out DOING things that give them power and control over our country.
It all comes down to will. They will always reframe the argument to their advantage. They will break the law whenever they calculate that they can. They will team up with people they don't agree with, if it's to their advantage. I really think it's because their nature makes it more necessary to them that they win.
Democrats are the party of cooperation and live and let live. Republicans make up the party of control freaks. If they don't conrol everything they perceive as a threat to them, they think they will die. THAT'S WHY THEIR WILL IS STRONGER THAN OURS. They have a built in advantage in the fight for our country. While we wait for the press to grow a backbone, for the history books to condemn them, or for powerful Democrats in Washington to stand up to them, they are EXECUTING their plan for world domination.
I don't think it's apathy or spinelessness on our part. People are genuinely scared they are going to be hurt or killed by our government if they voice opposition to them.
What can "We the people" do? What tools do we have? How can we voice our opposition to this regime without throwing our lives away? I admit, I don't have any ideas. I do know the internet is a powerful tool. I think we really need to start brainstorming and use our intelligence to devise a stronger form of resistance.

we're not going to the lengths that Republicans will go to to gain power in this country. You can speak all the truth you want to, without power it is meaningless.
I see Democrats time and time again hoping "If only the truth comes out about this scandal, people will see the truth and get these people out of power"
The truth came out a long, long, time ago. Well over half of America sees that this regime isn't truthful, but what does it matter? We can debate and accuse all we want to, but until we get some power, or generate our own power it doesn't matter.
I just think it's naive to think that the truth alone will propel this regime, and all like minded people, from power. Truth and justice are two different things, and we're missing the step in between.
