The point is that The Cabal has declared itself above law and constitution. The only question is will Congress step up and fight or or go ass up in submission? The effectiveness of illegal outrages is irrelevant.

and in a sense Biden is appealing to the camera, to people who don't understand that it's a matter of law and order, and are evaluating the situation from a visceral need to feel safe.

Gonzales is harping on why the program's necessary, and Biden is effectively tearing holes in that claim. But hopefully they will all bring it back to the president intentionally breaking federal law, and that he must be held accountable.

One Republican Senator mentioned that a family member of the plane that went down in 9/11 was in the audience. Biden's question brought the discussion back to something a bit more realistic. It was an excellent question.
