I intend to steal a 42" digital-cable-ready plasma HDTV....
I have my eyes on a real dandy that I am going to steal...actually steal is a messy word, what the act will be is part of my new Personal Entertainment Enchancement Program (PEEP). I find this program will be indispensible with regards to improving my life and entertainment needs. As I interpret the law, this program is NOT a crime. In fact after I procure the TV I am thinking of continuing the program with the selection of an 80 gig hard drive DVD recorder and a surround-sound system. Again, this is not a crime, it's a program, mkay?

13. Would it be possible for you also
to steal cable tv? just so you can monitor the situation with the liberal press, of course. All part of the program.

3. Well, if we have to keep hearing about how ...
... Bush is a war-time president, and being at war gives him the right to ignore the law, it's only ETHICAL that we War-Time Citizens act accordingly.

4. Obtaining the item is secondary. In fact, your program
consists of liberating such items from people who may prove to be terrorists at some later date. As terrorists, they will forefeit all their human and civil rights, so that your program of liberating their property is simple prescience on your part, as their future terrorism entitles you to do what you will to them and their property now.

Have I made myself clear?

Far from restricting personal freedoms, I think bush may have broken the ground for a new civil rights movement here.

... in terms of, say, their own television and video viewing preferences, would be offended by your Personal Entertainment Enhancement Program.

Your program is clearly necessary. I'm all for it.

23. With the Constitution being used as toilet paper
all thats left is to those with the most power, do what you want.

If you are a bear, and have weapons and buddies to keep you from being under law and justice, then I'd say you can do pretty much whatever you want.

Then again, pretty much anybody can do what thyey can get away with. Whats next, anarchy?

then blue bears automatically have the authority to define any action in any way the bear desires, and the greyhounds have been consulted and approve of this measure.

is to change the law to allow PEEP.

Now, maybe next time you'll come to us first and save all this embarrassment.

34. You don't have to name the "program" until after you are caught
In the meantime, ask the store to give you the tv. If they refuse, take it anyway. Inform one of your hostages that you have taken something, but don't tell them what it is or where you got it, and threaten them if they disclose what you did tell them. Then explain to anyone who asks that the hostages gave you permission.

38. Along those lines,
We should each consider growing Poppies and producing
opiates for sale here in the US so as to keep the drug money out of the hands of the terrorists.

Common sense will tell all real Americans that this is one more assurance that we can protect lives through breaking the law.

I'm off to get a loan from my local bank. It's as good as a done deal, as the flag flying proudly there denotes a clear contempt for those who hate our freedoms, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to assist President Bush in keeping us free through his marvelous disregard of the law.

Geez, and to think the Repubs' blamed Clinton for an epidemic of blow-jobs within the teen population!

40. Can the hand really steal from the arm? I mean, after all, aren't they
both part of the whole?

What helps the hand, helps the arm - and what helps the arm, helps the hand.

The government is like an arm - the people like a hand.

So really, it can't be stealing when the arm gives up something to aid the hand.

Besides, the hand is designed to take - to grasp - to hold - to keep.

The arm puts us within reach - but it's the hand that does the grabbing.

So really, it's not stealing from the government - it's using the hand wisely, to strengthen the government.
