There's really nothing left but impeachment.
When Gonzales with a straight face argues that IWR and this FISA court case both gave authority for domestic spying, it's pretty clear that the admin. is going to do whatever it pleases. There's no law that could be drafted that would restrain it, for they would misread the statute and secretly continue as they pleased.

When an administration states that it is not above the law but that the law is how it states it, secretly, and it is going to approve whatever he secretly does, there is nothing left to do but impeach. How else would one restrain this AG and this president?

Anyone who can think up a statute that could be written or a court case that could issue that would somehow be honored by this president, that person can be against impeachment. The rest of us are for it.

1. Impeachment just isn't going to happen
unless we take back the house and senate. However, Congress does still have the power of the purse. (not that the weenies will do anything)

3. All true. I am just illustrating how incorrigible these guys are.
The government can't function when the executive defines what laws mean and follow or not follow in secret.

5. Impeachment is a political event
I doubt these hat racks could sustain an erection let alone stand up to BushCo's world menace.

4. "the admin. is going to do whatever it pleases"
With the knowledge and consent of Congress - including a great many Democrats. That is why there will not be an impeachment.

Kiss the Constitution good bye!

6. He broke Congressional Law within a week of first entering office
There was a Law passed by Congress after the Nixon ordeal that was called the Presidential Papers Act. It stated that Presidential Papers must be released to the Public no later than twelve years after the Presidet the papers refer to leaves office. They can be released after eight years but must be released after twelve years. When Bush* first took office both Reagan and Bush 1 had been out of office over eight years and Reagan over twelve years. Bush* said he would not follow that law. He hasn't followed it either and not a single Congressman said one thing about it...Why should he worry about Congress now?
