1. Nah, he's not worried. He can lie all he wants, and what the hell's
going to happen to him? Nothing, that's what.

2. Is it just me, or do all the top members of BushCo...
look psychotic? Someone needs to line pictures of Bush, Cheney, Rummy, Condi, Gonzales and Bolton up in one post, then hide the children!

18. I was just thinking, what the hell is it with the left side of their faces
Look at his squinty left eye. Look at the left side of bush's face. Look at the left side of Cheney's face. I think Kindasleezy has the same odd effect. It's bizarre.

Someone on DU once mentioned that the left side of the face is a psychological counterpart to something, but I can't remember what it was.

3. Sort of like having a root canal done
he knew he had to go through with it but he knew that he'd come through
it okay because Bush had already "greased it' with Magic Arlen. It was just an annoying day.

4. What's the statute of limitations on lying to Congress?
Bush won't be in office forever, and the American people have a long memory.

5. He knows the laws of "the common man" don't apply to him.
These immortal words from Monty Python seem to fit:

Large Man with Dead Body: Who's that then?
The Dead Collector: I dunno, must be a king.
Large Man with Dead Body: Why?
The Dead Collector: He hasn't got shit all over him.

7. Funny how none of us agree with the original poster
It doesn't look like "mommy" to me, it looks like "do you really think you can touch us?"

13. Nope.
There was a vote to put him under oath that went - predictably - along party lines, so he wasn't under oath.

He "said" he was willing, and that his answers would be the same either way..
Arlen decided NOT to. He was challenged, a vote on swearing in was held.. It fell along party lines. (interesting side note, two of the repubs weren't there, and when Arlen put their "proxy" votes in, he was challenged again and he couldn't produce them...there around here somewhere...)

Complete friggen send up.. That is when I knew that not a word he spoke could be taken as true..

19. Why are we settling for this?
And you know who I mean when I say we. Party lines again. This is just not good. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. After my day today, I am not sure I can clearly comprehend the inanity of what's going on. Yet again. I need sleep. :hi:

17. That guy should use Aqua Velva
Edited on Mon Feb-06-06 09:53 PM by Jose Diablo
He's not getting close enough when he shaves.

Not only that, looks like he's got blackheads too. There's been a time in his past when he seldom washed his face and allowed the oils and dirt to accumulate in the pores in his face.

I think we need more close-up pictures of these repugs to see what they are really like.

Notice the lines between the eyes, this guy is worried. They are deep also so there has been a lot of worry in the past also. I'd say we are looking at an attorney for an organized crime syndicate.

Compare this guy to Fitz. Fitz looks like he sleeps at night, almost a cherubic face.

Gonzales is a sneaky one alright, how did he get confirmed as AG?

Edit to add: Just speculating, but I bet he smells like an old goat. What is that chemical thats released from the brain and ends-up in persperation that makes people smell like goats. I am gonna look it up.

Ah, here it is: trans-3-methyl-2-hexenoic acid, the human armpit odour component. Here, check out the link that describs this:
