OF COURSE this is a "totally different kind of war." |
|
Edited on Mon Feb-06-06 10:54 PM by Armstead
In the Civil War, brothers were fighting brothers on the soils of their hometowns in grisly battles.
In World War Two, we faced a massive military machine driven by pure evil that had taken over most of Europe, plus anotehr enemy in the Pacific.
In the Cold War, we faced an adversary with countless nuclear missles capable of ending the world in an hour pointed straight at us, and we had the same pointed at them.
Oh yes, what we are facing today is so much worse. :sarcasm:
Can someone tell the nitwits and manipulators who keep saying that to read their history, or remember their own childhoods?

Beaver are history shows and people actually lived like that back in the good old days. As well as Little house and Brady Bunch, which shows how The good non-hippy type families lived.

5. Well, Little House is probably a bit closer to reality |
|
than the Brady Bunch ever was.

No war was ever declared, and besides the mission was accomplished.
All that aside, I can't believe how many have fallen hook, line and sinker for the concept of the "war against terrorism"--it's a tactic for crying out loud.

8. Half of America who votes "gets it" but their votes were stolen...They |
|
show up in polls but their voices are not given weight in the media. Their Party has left them with crap voting machines, disenfranchisment and only the internet (which the Party Ops don't respect) to work for CHANGE.
The other half has Think Tanks and Vile Mouthpieces paid for by the Coporate Whores and Mega Rich Conservative Wacko's. They run it all. Those of us who know history are fighting with the small stone age tools we have. It just isn't enough...yet...
Maybe one day WE will be the REAL HALF OF AMERICA who get's heard...some day..some way.
