WASHINGTON, Feb. 6 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales today announced that the President's FY 2007 budget proposal for the Department of Justice (DOJ) is $20.8 billion.

The President's overall FY 2007 budget requests $330.8 million in new enhancements for counterterrorism and intelligence.
