Need some ideas for content for a Democratic Newsletter

okay folks...

I have to fill in some space in a newsletter.

I am going to put Michael Moore's ad for the Sicko movie...looking for people who have healthcare horror stories that they can share.

I am also thinking about doing a small article about how to identify the right wing think tanks...I think a lot of people hear stuff about the Heritage foundation and then think...oh it must be right if it comes from a foundation...etc

any other ideas for some small but informative tidbits for local Democrats?

destroying Dem chances to take control of the govt.

and don't plan on including anything on Nader.

6. Good one! I think that would be clever to have an ongoing accounting

of money in a regular newsletter. Would be somethign that could take up only an inch or two of space and yet speak volumes.. esp if you compare **'s insane budget slashes alongside for contrast.)

4. If you want to do something of ecological and economic interest

maybe you can get permission from the website owners to reproduce some of these facts about industrial hemp? http://www.thehia.org/facts.html (I know it's doesn't fall under the healthcare or thinktank ideas, but I've really had this on the brain this week for some reason.)

I sometimew wonder if we are not a party in seach of precisely that, Not picking nits here but it gegs the obvious question.

WHo are we and what do we believe? WHy are we even a Party if we don't have answers to this important question.

10. We have too many issues we care about, and too many differences of

opinion on them.

We need to take 3 big issues, make them what we are "About", and leave the rest to "... oh, yeah, these too" when asked.
People don't "get" Democrats because Liberals have 1,000,000 different causes, and some are radical.
