2. This is really disappointing. I open up DU to see the lead article |
|
Edited on Tue Feb-07-06 10:17 AM by higher class
and I read this:
"If the president broke the law, that's unacceptable. But I think it's debatable whether he did," Vilsack told Des Moines Register editors and reporters."
Then I open Latest and the very first post I read is this:
"Many Republicans agree that Bush broke the law."
What is wrong here?
I think I may sign off again and come back later. Perhaps I won't be so disgusted.
Edited to add - I then went back to the articles and the second on has this:
"Support The President On Wiretapping Or Else...
Karl is promising photo-ops and appearances with the blivet to those who remain loyal! By the time we get to Nov., they’re going to be begging for him not to appear".
We need fighters for the citizens. There are many, many consitutional lawyers from both sides who say that what the admin has done is unconstitutional.
Who is worse - the DLC or Rove?
The DLC is a patriot lie down dog. There are plenty of us who want Dems to stand up!

3. What is wrong here? Well, that we are our own willing executioners. |
|
I think that's what is wrong here.
Vil "No" sack is the embodiment of why Democrats can't get any goddamned respect.

4. What you saw is the reason people voted for Ralph Nader. |
|
It's hard to admit, but admit it we must. Some people still can't tell the parties apart. It scares me!

People need to realize that everyone has an opinion (accurate, faulty, delusional or otherwise). Not everyone's opinion is accurate.
edited to clarify: Not everyone's opinion accurately reflects the facts.

5. Yeah and where are the new polls? |
|
Has anyone seen any new polls? The only poll I saw came out when the story broke. This could be the highest they want you to see. And that was at 53%. Now we see Repubs crossing over. I wouldn't doubt the actual figure is much higher today than a month ago. I think Moveon's ad's will help some as well.

7. What are these "many republicans" going to do about it |
|
It's their job to stop lawbreakers. Will they now do their job?
