The cartoons that are from the Danish newspaper were published last September.
They seem to have been brought to the attention of the muslim population at a great time.
Not only do they serve as a decoy for the escalating tension in Iran but also help to portray
muslims as fundamentalist crazies to the rest of the world. Muslim leaders need to communicate to
their population that violence against innocent Danish embassy employees will only help to stretch
the gap that is growing between the west and the muslims. Unmerited violence will only help W. to
continue to convince americans that the holy war he has started must continue.
