Bush has gall to attend Coretta King's funeral after submitting a budget |
|
that stands AGAINST everything the MLK stood FOR. He and his administration have no shame, no soul.

3. Mrs. King is/was also pro-gay rights... |
|
kind of a slap in the face for him to attend, seeing as he's done everything to undermine an entire population of people.
As much as I hate him being there, it is the right thing to do--out of respect, even if it is just part of the pr machine on his part.

WHOLE thing. It's supposed to go on for hours, and ole Porgie is like a fidgety kid in church....
Will we get some wiggling and nose picking shots???
If there's any justice, he'll get a few oblique lectures for his trouble...

5. I hope the Holy Ghost shows up |
|
maybe there could be a HEALING Spirit in that place,in spite of Mr.bush presence. He is impotent against ALL the good that has been done by Ms.King's Work, HE will feel the power of LOVE in that place,& be amazed. Thank YOU, Mrs.King~===]

8. If that happened, the Monkey would just think it was Halloween |
|
and fret that he didn't have a costume, and where was his candy??? Oooooh, a ghost!
You have to have awareness for any kind of change, and he lacks that.
I'm just hoping that he doesn't ruin the event. The odds favor that, fortunately--recall how insignificant he became at the Pope's funeral? Just a smirking face in a crowd...

and should have it drained. Into his head, maybe, to fill up the space.

7. In the Atlanta paper, we have this thing called The Vent |
|
anyone can email or call in with something to say and if it's timely The Vent Guy will usually put it in the column. Example: some of today's vents:
*Republicans are taking the fun out of being poor. *The MVP of the 2006 Super Bowl should be the head referee’s bookie. *I’d like a nice little check box on the Georgia tax form where you could indicate that you don’t want your money going toward illegal aliens.
Just so you can see what we're dealing with.
Anyhows...my point is I sent in one, but it was too late last night to get in today's paper, but it is as follows:
Oh the irony. The man who has taken away more civil rights and liberties in the past five years is speaking at the funeral of a civil rights icon.
I hope they have her coffin nailed down 'cause she'd be spinnin' if she knew he was there.
