1. Same as it's always been

Those saying "we" have to build a wall on the Rio Grande, it's the same as those who said "we" have to keep the Irish and then the Italians out.



"Irish need not apply"

"Catholics not welcome"

"Colored only"

"Secure the border, now!"

Same shit different day.

2. I don't know about boiling point...
Most people I know are very sane about the issue. But there's a real whacked-out segment of the population that seems to think it represents everyone.

So I don't know.
